Paint the Town Red is a longform comic series, in collaboration with my partner, Winter Jay Kiakas. It’s a supernatural comic that follows a handful of vampires and werewolves, as they navigate their lives together and delve into each other’s pasts–as well as the past of the town itself. There’s plenty of kissing, dating, blood and drama to go around.

The comic is rated 16+, it contains violence, swearing, sexual themes and body horror.

New werewolf Winny and her dear friend, Odile, have been running a small werewolf shelter. As Winny is haunted by her past, things really go awry as there’s suddenly a injured vampire at their doorstep. Once Winny decides to take her in, new strange events and mysteries begin to unfold–digging up parts of Winny’s past, opening up new relationships, discovering new problems deep in the heart of Merlot. Everyone seems to have something to hide in this little town–but no one can hide it for long.

Although the comic updates online, the story is released in printed format first, through volumes. Volume 1 was Kickstarted in 2019, and Volume 2 in 2020, and Volume 3 in 2022. It is a pure gay werewolf x vampire guilty pleasure that we love working on.
